Caltrol Inc. is seeking an Outage Manager to enhance our Lifecycle Services division.
The Outage Manager collaborates with Caltrol's clientele, Account Managers, and our Isolation and Valve Services (I&VS) team to ensure the timely and budget-conscious execution of new control valves, valve repairs, and various valve automation solutions during outages. This role oversees and directs the requirements for quotes and invoices to Caltrol's Inside Repair personnel, ensuring adherence to all necessary documentation. Furthermore, the position is accountable for managing daily service operations. Compensation Range
The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. This is the salary range Caltrol reasonably anticipates for this position at the time of this posting. The actual base salary offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate along with the position's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide quotations, follow up on quotes, and work to finalize orders for I&VS service repairs and parts.
- Act as a key leader of the Isolation & Valve Services Quality Action Team.
- Guide Caltrol inside specialists in developing and preparing quotes.
- Provide updates for plant outages and maintenance turnarounds, as well as input for budget forecasting.
- Assist in resolving customer issues and order status, and direct invoicing write-up and preparation.
- Engage with customers, factories, and other Caltrol teams to foster process improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Actively collaborate with team members to achieve sales and gross profit objectives.
- Participate in assessing the economic feasibility of repairing control valves versus replacement with Encore assemblies.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Caltrol's commercial and financial operations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in control valves, sales, and/or repair with solid technical sales competency.
- Strong sales and customer interaction skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional follow-up capabilities.
- In-depth technical knowledge of I&VS repair services.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage special assignments and prioritize a demanding workload to meet customer deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in process control sales or applications.
- College degree in Engineering or a Technical field preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience in or servicing industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with various Fisher Control valve models and types.
- Experience with control valve sizing through Fisher training courses Control Valve Engineering I and II.
- Knowledge of Emerson Process Management products and services.
- Understanding of Caltrol's key industries, including refining, mining, power, food/beverage, water, and HVAC.
- Knowledge of ball valves, control valves, valve repair, butterfly valves, process valves, valve assembly, electric actuators, valve automation, pneumatic actuators, etc.

Physical Requirements:
