Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Gila River Gaming Enterprises Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting excellent guest service experiences, managing restaurant operations, and achieving operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and provide exceptional guest service experiences to internal and external guests.
  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Contribute to strategic plans and implement production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards.
  • Coach, counsel, direct, train, and mentor team members to meet company standards.
  • Maintain ambiance and ensure total compliance with all alcohol service policies.
  • Ensure Point of Sales Systems (POS) are in working order and audit for accuracy of Payment Card (PCI) compliance.
  • Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in restaurant operations required.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly and calculate basic math functions.
  • Must acquire and maintain a valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

As a condition of employment, all new hires must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug test and background check.
