Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Applications Technology Director to join our team at Dartmouth Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and identifying appropriate technology platforms for delivering company services, establishing and supervising the analytical process, and mentoring and educating organizational partners, customers, and stakeholders on technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for delivering company services
  2. Establish and supervise the analytical process, setting short-term objectives and assessing progress
  3. Mentor and educate organizational partners, customers, and stakeholders on technological vision, opportunities, and challenges
  4. Serve as primary liaison between technology vendors, building and maintaining working relationships and monitoring performance of agreements
  5. Manage IT vendor(s) to ensure high level of customer service in user technology services including hardware and software needs, network support, training and documentation, and service desk requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in healthcare related, IS field with management responsibility required
  • Advanced degree (in Management/Finance/Healthcare as appropriate) preferred
  • Working knowledge of system analysis techniques, microcomputers, user techniques, and networks required
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Knowledge of relevant application systems, hardware, and software technologies
  • Knowledge of DH computer service applications and support activities
  • Demonstrated ability to envision and design technology-based services that meet consumer needs and solve business problems

Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
