Job Overview

At TEKsystems, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in assisting electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Responsibilities
  • We are looking for someone to assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring homes and businesses.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing sound systems, security systems, and voice and data systems.
  • This role requires proficiency in installing lighting, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers, as well as threading conduit ends and connecting couplings and conduit fittings using wrenches.
  • Able to secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals.
  • Using tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers is essential for this position.
  • Replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wire as needed.
  • Assist in home inspections and rewiring homes and businesses.
Requirements
  • Consult with engineers, engineering technicians, line installers and repairers, or industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers when performing installations.
  • Rewire homes and businesses to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.
  • Assist in installing new lighting and ceiling fans, as well as repairing motors, transformers, generators, and electronic controllers on machine tools and industrial robots.
  • Able to work effectively in teams and provide excellent customer service.
