Job Title: Senior Systems Infrastructure Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Dartmouth Health. This is a full-time, hybrid remote position with a requirement to be onsite minimum 1 day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for delivering company services
  • Establish and supervise the analytical process, setting short-term objectives and assessing progress
  • Mentor and educate organizational partners, customers, and stakeholders on technological vision, opportunities, and challenges
  • Serve as primary liaison between technology vendors, building and maintaining working relationships and monitoring performance of agreements
  • Manage IT vendor(s) to ensure high level of customer service in user technology services including hardware and software needs, network support, training and documentation, and service desk requests
  • Review major contracts/statement of work for information technology services, hardware, and software purchases and projects
  • Participate in annual budget development and maintain costs against budget
  • Direct new systems development and modification of existing systems
  • Consult with users to diagnose and resolve complex problems
  • Develop troubleshooting and problem resolution programs to ensure high level of service and efficiency
  • Serve as liaison with other departments, partners and affiliates to achieve system-wide goals
  • Assume accountability for project team activities reporting completion, status, priorities, and expected completion date
  • Organize, approve, and maintain project/system documentation and/or technical specifications
  • Manage workflow within team and communication with other IS teams and user population
  • Plan, develop, direct, schedule, and/or assist in deployment and/or enhancement of information systems
  • Manage staffing and personnel issues. Manage annual performance appraisal process. Provide supervision to assigned staff and facilitate development of and oversee their professional development plans. Oversees hiring and orientation process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in healthcare related, IS field with management responsibility required
  • Advanced degree (in Management/Finance/Healthcare as appropriate) preferred
  • Working knowledge of system analysis techniques, microcomputers, user techniques, and networks required
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Knowledge of relevant application systems, hardware, and software technologies
  • Knowledge of DH computer service applications and support activities
  • Demonstrated ability to envision and design technology-based services that meet consumer needs and solve business problems

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
