About the Role:

  • Job Summary: The Software Systems Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software applications and systems. They will design, develop, and configure software solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software applications and systems.
  2. Design, develop, and configure software solutions to meet customer needs.
  3. Maintain and support applications and systems, including problem investigation, issue resolution, and performing system updates/upgrades.
  4. Provide technical support to stakeholders, assisting with system integration and troubleshooting.
  5. Assist in the creation of technical documentation, including user manuals and guides.
  6. Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party software components, tools, and technologies.
  7. Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  8. Provide training and guidance to other team members on software applications and systems.
  9. Manage single-person or small group projects as assigned, using prescribed workflows from inception through completion, with minimum supervisor oversight.
  10. Participate in presentations in small and medium group settings, communicating the status of open requests, problems, or issues to all involved parties.
  11. Perform analysis functions in support of process improvement projects.
  12. Work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
