Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Management Senior Specialist to join our team at the State of Washington. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong background in leading and managing projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
