We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems across the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end project management of EHR implementation and optimization projects
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, revenue, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and resolve issues as they arise
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Oversee the training and support of end-users during the EHR implementation process
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Systems, Project Management, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management
- Seven years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in the information technology business analysis or project management
- OR
- Associates degree in information technology or related field and nine years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in the information technology business analysis or project management
- OR
- Eleven years of consultative, administrative, or supervisory experience in the information technology business analysis or project management
- AND
- Concurrent of five years of experience as a project specialist with large technology projects, with specific expertise in clinical EHR implementations
- Awareness of information technology environments, e.g., cloud, virtual, physical infrastructure, enterprise application development/implementation, software systems
- Experience working in acute and ambulatory settings
- Experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence and Jira
