School Psychologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological services to students in a K-12 setting.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice in Maine. You will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, developing and implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and social strengths and needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve students' academic and social-emotional functioning
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments and support student success
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all services provided
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active Maine State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
