Job Summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Per Diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations, promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Support and educate patients and families throughout their hospitalization, promoting a positive patient experience.
  • Function as the patient advocate, actively following a plan of care and responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Maine.
  • Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP certifications.
  • Preferred: Five years of nursing experience, Bilingual.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to engage patients and team members utilizing the CMH Experience Standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate teamwork.
  • Ability to adapt to change in positive ways.
