Emergency Department Technician

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of the Emergency Department's Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Perform approved procedures per policy and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with patient transfers, transportation, and preparation for procedures.
- Monitor stock and restock supplies as needed in the Emergency Department.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
- CNA certification or EMT license with at least one year of work experience required.
