Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at Baltimore City Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and records
  • Operate office equipment and software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from the public
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and other materials
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to staff and students
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of office support experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
