Core Responsibilities

  • Direct Patient Interaction: Evaluate incoming calls to determine appropriate actions based on patient needs and information.
  • Communicate with patients, sales representatives, and visitors in a professional and efficient manner through various channels.
  • Conduct appointment reminder calls and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for patient visits.
  • Enhance patient experience by demonstrating courteous behavior and a commitment to precision.

Support for Providers and Teams:

  • Generate daily schedules of appointments for the clinic.
  • Collaborate with care teams to ensure accountability for patient health outcomes.
  • Instill confidence in our care and facilities among patients and stakeholders.

Clinical Administration:

  • Manage appointment scheduling and accurately input data into electronic systems.
  • Track and document filled and canceled appointments.
  • Prepare patient charts ahead of appointments and verify patient records for accuracy.
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Complete ongoing training to ensure compliance with position requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of customer service experience is necessary, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and multi-line phone systems is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Arabic, or English/Mandarin) may be required based on location.

Additional Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret various instructions in different formats.
  • Knowledge of customer service etiquette and protocols.
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Physical capability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, based on experience.
