Core Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Engagement
Evaluate incoming calls to ascertain the appropriate response based on patient information and requirements. - Communication
Interact with patients, sales representatives, and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and proficient manner through various channels including in-person, phone, and mail. - Appointment Management
Conduct reminder calls for appointments, ensuring patients are informed of necessary documentation for their visits. - Team Collaboration
Generate daily schedules for clinic appointments and work collaboratively with care teams to support overall patient health outcomes.
Administrative Duties
- Schedule appointments and accurately input all required data into the electronic scheduling system.
- Track and document filled and canceled appointments, preparing patient charts prior to visits.
- Verify patient records for accuracy and update as necessary.
- Process patient payments and maintain financial records.
- Complete ongoing training to ensure compliance with position requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience is necessary; experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Arabic, or English/Mandarin) may be required based on site needs.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong typing and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to interpret various forms of instructions effectively.
- Knowledge of customer service etiquette and protocols.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using computer programs, including spreadsheets and databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Compensation
Pay range: $22.00-$28.75 per hour, commensurate with experience.
