As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Department.
- Interpret and communicate policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitor staff practices and implementation.
- Participate in the admission process, daily team meetings, and QAPI activities.
- Assist with nursing schedules, perform rounds, and conduct observations of nursing care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and community agencies to identify and resolve issues.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum two years of managerial experience in a skilled nursing community.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Current CPR certification.
- High degree of integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to lead change.
