Culinary Management Role at Oasis The Kitchen Lounge

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Director to join our team at Oasis The Kitchen Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, including meal preparation, menu planning, and staff supervision.

About the Job

This is a senior leadership role that requires strong management skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality food service. You will work closely with our head chef to develop menus, manage kitchen operations, and lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including meal preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Develop and implement menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support personnel.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with our head chef to plan and execute special events, such as weddings and banquets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in culinary management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
