Job Description

At DirectDefense, you will be part of a dynamic team that works with clients to design and manage information security services tailored to their specific needs. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business revenue throughout North America.

We need an experienced sales professional who is looking to take their career to the next level in information security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business sales while managing the sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Regularly meet or exceed your quarterly quota.
  • Conduct effective discovery calls with prospects.
  • Deliver dynamic and engaging presentations and product demonstrations remotely and in person.
  • Build a pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities within your territory.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required.
  • Ensure excellent service and support to prospects and customers by creating long-term business relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account, and effectively manage your territory.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability and desire to work in a challenging and competitive industry.
  • A risk-taker with a powerful work ethic and a hunter mentality.
  • Self-motivation and comfort working with a small sales team in a startup environment.
  • A competitive, passionate and enthusiastic personality.
  • Organization skills.
  • Previous work experience with Salesforce.com CRM is a plus.
  • Prior cyber security sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience developing talent as a manager or Senior Account Executive.
