Position Overview - Enterprise Solutions Architect Trainee

Dawn's Inspire Internship Program provides students with a distinctive opportunity to delve into the vibrant realm of the Global Bakery Industry.

With a century of experience, Dawn offers interns a chance to engage with our dynamic company culture, embrace our core values, and acquire invaluable knowledge for their future careers.

The Enterprise Solutions Architect Trainee role emphasizes learning and executing Enterprise Architect practices. Under supervision, you will maintain EA documentation, conduct business process evaluations, gather comprehensive information on various applications, and compile all necessary data for integration into a centralized EA repository.

This is a full-time hybrid internship, requiring 2-3 days on-site, with the remainder of the time spent working remotely.

Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications for Interns at Dawn Foods

To qualify for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree with a keen interest in information technology.
  • Current academic standing must reflect satisfactory performance according to institutional standards.
  • Completion of required Sophomore-level credits.
  • A genuine interest in the industry or field related to the internship.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Intern Responsibilities

As an intern, you will:

  • Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team.

  • Propose process enhancements and contribute innovative ideas.

Identified Projects

You will be responsible for:

  • Data cleansing of application artifact information.
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Architects and application owners to identify and rectify incomplete data.
  • Mapping data flows within the EA tool.
  • Interviewing application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document detailed data flows and elements.
  • Mapping process flows within the EA tool.
  • Interviewing application SMEs to document detailed process flows.
  • Application rationalization, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture to develop proposals for application rationalization.
