Role Overview

The Global E-commerce division is seeking a seasoned, analytically driven Business Analyst Program Manager to enhance our understanding of ongoing operations and identify further management and growth opportunities. This role is crucial in providing insights throughout the business management cycle, including recommending measurable and achievable objectives during planning and continuously monitoring and enhancing performance. Success in this position requires navigating data across diverse business units, where a deep understanding and precision are essential. Ideal candidates will excel at converting business terminology into quantitative metrics and leveraging these insights to guide cross-functional teams in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze retail metrics to uncover trends, opportunities, and challenges within the marketplace.

2. Utilize Python for developing predictive models and automating data workflows.

3. Proficient in Power BI for data visualization.

4. Create and manage SQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.

5. Lead projects within the designated organization.

6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

7. Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in both tactical and strategic capacities.

8. Design impactful visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to convey insights to stakeholders.

9. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement data-driven strategies.

10. Monitor the success of business strategies and provide data-supported evaluations.

11. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership and departmental use.

12. Stay updated on advancements in analytics and retail technologies, recommending enhancements and new systems as needed.

Required Skills:

1. Proficient in Python, with experience in data analysis and model development.

2. Strong SQL capabilities for complex queries, database management, and performance optimization.

3. Expertise in Tableau for crafting visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate analytical insights.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with precision and attention to detail.

5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey insights to a non-technical audience effectively.

6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

2. 3+ years of experience in program management or analysis, preferably within a retail context.

3. Familiarity with retail industry metrics and KPIs.

4. Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.

Compensation & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various U.S. regions. At Coupang, your base salary is one component of your total compensation package.

The base salary for this role ranges from $138,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $163,000/year in our highest geographic market. Compensation is influenced by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
