Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our facility equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and Maintain Equipment Performance: Regularly inspect and adjust equipment to ensure it is functioning within established parameters.
  2. Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  3. Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Identify and repair equipment malfunctions, using diagnostic techniques and tools as required.
  4. Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment performance.
  5. Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with production staff, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimal downtime.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Industrial Maintenance Experience: At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food processing environment.
  • Ammonia Refrigeration Experience: Preferred.
  • Wastewater Treatment Plant Experience: Preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
