Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
  • Troubleshooting: Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by lubricating and cleaning machinery and support equipment, and adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Documentation and Tracking: Document and track changeover times and record maintenance activities to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Electrical Experience: Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operation of production equipment and machinery.
