About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Products Go-To-Market Strategy team as a Merchant and Network Products Go-To-Market Strategist. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the growth of American Express by developing and managing Go-To-Market initiatives to drive global distribution of Amex products with Merchants, Third Party Partners, Bank Partners, and other customers.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and management of Go-To-Market initiatives to drive global distribution of Amex products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and maintain centralized product databases, including Go-To-Market Plans and product information libraries.
  • Manage feedback loops across internal product partners and stakeholders, and provide periodic Go-To-Market reporting.
  • Partner with customer onboarding, pipeline, and contracts for one or more products.
  • Analyze large data sets to develop product content, including quantified claims and business cases.
  • Provide strategic support to team members on Go-To-Market strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business consulting, strategy development, marketing, and/or data analytics.
  • Results-oriented and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality presentations and reports.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to navigate large data sets and make strategic recommendations.
