Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure adherence to established procedures and guidelines by verifying the completeness of controls.
Revise and update procedures in response to changes in higher-level directives.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed memoranda, preliminary reports, and visual aids that summarize findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Nationals and provide appropriate proof of citizenship. A successful background investigation, including a fingerprint check, is required.
Candidates should possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal Service, which includes performing technical tasks in support of management and program analysis.
Experience should encompass identifying issues, conducting research, gathering relevant data, and utilizing software for data management.
Skills:
Typing proficiency is essential, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
Applicants must demonstrate office automation skills and relevant experience or education for this role.
Additional Information:
This position may require a one-year probationary period. Salary payments will be processed through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
Opportunities for additional vacancies may arise from this announcement. This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for alternative work schedules or telework arrangements.
Telework Eligibility:
While telework options are available, eligibility is contingent upon meeting IRS requirements and supervisor approval.
