We are looking for a passionate Program Site Manager to oversee, guide, and ensure the effective execution of our educational site initiatives. In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated educators and staff, serving students in grades K-6. Your contribution will be essential in collaborating with stakeholders to align program operations with the priorities of the educational site.

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Full-time schedule from 10am to 6pm, with variations during school breaks and closures.

  • Reports directly to a School Age Program Manager.
Core Responsibilities:
  1. Program Execution: Work in partnership with the Operations Manager and Academic Coordinator to implement the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) 21st Century and Department of Early Education & Care (EEC) program operations at the educational site. This includes engaging students with the highest needs, recruiting and retaining exceptional staff, conducting regular, high-quality educational activities, monitoring outcome data, and nurturing a sense of community among students and families.
  2. Collaborative Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with school staff and community partners to provide comprehensive support for student learning, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  3. Family Engagement: Collaborate with the Family Engagement & Enrollment Manager to create outreach initiatives that promote positive relationships with parents, ensuring open lines of communication and involvement in their children's education. Organize and participate in program showcases, field trips, and community events.
  4. Community Collaboration: Partner with community organizations to offer students unique program opportunities, including but not limited to: STEM, empowerment initiatives, horseback riding, and nature exploration.
  5. Staff Management and Development: Directly oversee, mentor, and train group leaders/educators to ensure they are prepared to provide a nurturing and enriching experience for students.
  6. Goal Setting and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Director of Operations, Director of Curriculum, Academic Coordinator, staff, and parents to establish goals and objectives, ensuring the overall quality of service.
  7. Documentation and Compliance: Complete all necessary attendance reporting and record-keeping for the program, including student files. Ensure compliance with all EEC licensing regulations.
  8. Supportive Learning Environment: Assist in maintaining an environment that encourages the growth and development of children, fostering their unique talents and interests.
  9. Child Safety and Welfare: Prioritize the care, safety, and well-being of children in the program, ensuring a secure and supportive atmosphere.
  10. Professional Growth: Actively engage in staff meetings and ongoing professional development to remain informed about best practices and program enhancements.
  11. Certifications and Training: Complete all required certifications and training, including current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification and all other EEC requirements as necessary.
  12. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is essential.
  • Experience in community-based programs and managing adults, both directly and indirectly.
  • Demonstrated ability in administrative tasks, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of sports/athletics, arts, music, and/or STEM programs is advantageous.
  • A willingness to learn about children's growth and development, fostering their potential.
  • Must meet the qualifications required for their positions in accordance with EEC regulations.
Requirements:
  • Must complete CORI, SORI, and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by EEC prior to employment.
  • Evidence of a physical examination completed within one year prior to employment.
  • Evidence of immunizations against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella completed prior to employment.
  • Obtain or maintain current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification within two months of employment.
