Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to meet the comprehensive insurance needs of our clients. As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will provide prompt, accurate, and professional services to our clients, producers, vendors, and company employees to maintain and grow our personal lines book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and counsel on personal lines matters to an assigned book of business.
  • Meet daily servicing needs of our clients, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of their insurance-related queries.
  • Evaluate prospects' current insurance coverages and offer tailored alternatives based on coverage and price, presenting proposals and finalizing sales.
  • Remarket existing clients as directed by management or client need, leveraging your knowledge of our insurance products and services.
  • Process endorsements and ensure they are properly issued, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Produce insurance ID and evidence of insurance as needed, ensuring seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Quote and issue new business through account rounding and/or referral networks, driving growth and revenue.
  • Work assigned activities and tasks in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload effectively.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of personal lines experience within an independent agency setting.
  • Property and Casualty Producer license is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience working on Applied 'Epic' system is preferred.
  • Having a working knowledge of the insurance companies we represent is a plus.

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Strong sense of initiative with a proven ability to resolve complex issues.
