Position Summary
The Food and Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the management team with daily operations in dining, restaurant, and banquet services. This position involves active participation in the F&B team while providing leadership and oversight during service periods.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as Manager on Duty during meal services.
• Train, mentor, and guide restaurant and bar personnel.
• Compile daily reports on service metrics and operational data.
• Oversee restaurant and breakfast staff during service, providing support as needed.
• Communicate daily with staff regarding specials and expectations.
• Supervise opening and closing tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify new business opportunities.
• Meet regularly with the Restaurant Manager to discuss project progress and future assignments.
• Address urgent requests or issues with the Restaurant Manager or F&B Manager promptly.
• Assist in planning and executing catering and banquet events.
• Maintain the breakfast area to the highest standards during service hours.
• Conduct daily inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to service and presentation standards.
• Participate in weekly scheduling and staff planning.
• Exhibit visible leadership to hotel guests.
• Support food ordering processes for breakfast as required.
• Foster staff development with input from department managers and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Complete assigned reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Assist with payroll-related tasks as needed.
• Collaborate across all areas of the F&B department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in food and beverage management is preferred.
• Experience in the hotel industry is advantageous.

Work Environment
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared to work in various conditions, including wet and humid environments, and may need to navigate slippery surfaces. The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. is essential.
