**Job Summary:**
The Patient Access Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring seamless patient access to care. Located in a call center setting, this individual facilitates patient communication, registration, and scheduling while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Facilitate patient access to care through effective communication and registration processes
* Utilize computer and typing skills to accurately record patient communications
* Maintain a high level of composure in a fast-paced work environment
* Collaborate with patients to resolve scheduling and registration issues
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience working with the public
* Excellent communication and phone skills
* Computer and typing skills
* Medical office experience preferred
* Knowledge of medical terminology
**Physical Guidelines:**
* Ability to move, traverse, and position self for up to eight hours per day
* Motor coordination and complete manual dexterity
* Articulate speech and visual acuity
* Ability to hear
