About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Sales Director to join our team at Nielsen Consumer LLC. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans for assigned territories and/or vertical industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting, networking, and developing new business opportunities in designated markets
  • Consulting with clients to uncover how they currently use consumer insights and where our offerings might fill voids
  • Generating revenue and achieving annual goals by selling and upselling syndicated and custom solutions
  • Negotiating annual or multi-year contracts and ensuring maximum renewal rate
  • Developing insightful presentations and educating clients on current capabilities and resources

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years selling market research (syndicated or custom) or experience within an agency or marketer
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Expertise in selling syndicated research products directly to brands
  • Thorough understanding of the Digital Marketing ecosystem
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong Salesforce or similar CRM system skills
