WELLNESS SPA MASSAGE SPECIALIST

Nestled in the picturesque Napa Valley, The Estate Yountville is home to two exquisite hotels that offer an unparalleled retreat experience. Surrounded by lush vineyards and renowned dining establishments, our 22-acre sanctuary provides a unique Wine Country experience, featuring two distinct luxury hotels – the lively Hotel Villagio and the elegant Vintage House, a serene and sophisticated haven. With nearly 200 rooms and suites, we are dedicated to crafting memorable experiences for our guests.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Wellness Spa Massage Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional massage and body treatment services to our clientele. A comprehensive understanding of various massage techniques is essential, along with a willingness to learn our spa's specialized offerings. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions tailored to our guests' needs.

This role includes providing soothing treatments in a poolside setting, enhancing the relaxation experience for our guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy, among others.
  • Tailor massage sessions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
  • Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, fostering a calming and welcoming environment.
  • Conduct detailed client consultations to understand their health history and specific needs.
  • Stay updated on current spa offerings and promotions to effectively inform and upsell services to clients.
  • Adhere to all spa protocols and maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Keep accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and progress.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with fellow spa staff to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all areas of massage therapy.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage and recommend follow-up treatments.
  • Ensure all necessary licenses and certifications are current, complying with local regulations.
  • Assist other team members and departments to enhance overall spa performance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Massage Therapist in a luxury spa or hotel environment.
  • Must possess and maintain CAMTC certification.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.
  • Quick and accurate decision-making skills.
  • Capability to perform well in high-pressure situations.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure under stress.
