Regional Survey Service Leader

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Regional Survey Service Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our survey service across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance survey service initiatives that support the goals of the division.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and empowerment to local survey service leaders in each office.
  • Work with the Division Survey Service Leader and Regional Leader to develop short- and long-term growth plans for the survey service.
  • Ensure company culture, policies, and procedures are consistently implemented within the survey team.
  • Stay current on survey-specific trends, technology, software, hardware, and equipment, and drive value based on innovation.
  • Work with the Division Survey Service Leader and local survey service leaders to develop and implement standards for work products specific to the survey service.
  • Responsible for survey-based workload coordination across the region.
  • Advise the Division Survey Service Leader and Regional Leader in hiring decisions and identify technical resource needs as it relates to the survey group in the region.
  • Work with the Division Survey Service Leader and Regional Leader to review compensation for consistency across the survey team in the region.
  • Support market-based and/or survey-based business development in each land office in the region by providing technical expertise and survey revenue generation.
  • Participate in Westwood's wellness and safety program and ensure the practices are being implemented within the survey service.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the survey service consulting business.
  • Licensed Professional Surveyor.
  • Four-year Survey degree or similar required.
  • 8+ years of experience in the land surveying industry.
  • Excellent technical and project management skills.
