Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collateral Specialist to join our team at Stock Yards Bank and Trust. As a key member of our Loan Operations department, you will be responsible for processing and setting up collateral records, ticklers, and clearing loan exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up collateral records and ticklers in our system
  • Perfect liens on titles, UCCs, mortgages, and other collateral
  • Clear loan exceptions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review collateral documents for completeness before sending to jurisdiction for perfection
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous loan processing experience, preferably 1-2 years
  • General banking knowledge, specifically related to loan processing
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

This position requires sitting for most of the day with limited walking and standing. Some lifting of boxes may be required for shipping purposes. All work is performed indoors within regular working hours with a moderate noise level.
