Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a Medical Coding Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments from medical billing, submitting claims, working denials, and following up with insurance companies and patients to ensure appropriate collection of medical claims.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and manage account payments from medical billing
- Submit claims and work denials
- Follow up with insurance companies and patients to ensure accurate claims processing
- Maintain Preventative Medicaid and Manage Care Organizations
- Set up and maintain Electronic Funds Transfer accounts with Medicaid
- 3 years of experience in medical coding or a related field
- Experience with medical software and coding systems
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
