About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Founding Robotics System Engineer to join our pioneering team developing cutting-edge directed energy laser systems for counter-drone applications. As a generalist engineering role, you will be involved in designing and building a revolutionary laser system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the company's first product MVP.
  • Design and develop high-performance, real-time systems using compiled languages like C++ and Rust.
  • Take initiative in self-directed projects related to robotics and CS.

Requirements:

  • 0-10 years of engineering experience (degree not required).
  • Experience in real-time systems development.
  • Evidence of self-directed CS and robotics projects.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in computer vision for controls.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Salary: Up to $100,000
