Simbe Robotics Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assisting with the mechanical design, testing, and manufacturing of our Tally autonomous mobile robots.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD design, particularly in Solidworks. You will also be responsible for aiding in new product development for our next generation robotics platform and related products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with mechanical design, testing, and manufacturing of Tally autonomous mobile robots
  • Aid in new product development for our next generation robotics platform and related products
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure successful product development

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in mechanical engineering or related field
  • ~2+ years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Strong CAD design skills, preferably in Solidworks
  • Experience with GD&T, 2-D Drawings, Assembly Drawings
  • Experience with Tolerance Stack-up Analysis, Failure Analysis, and Simulation Software
  • Familiarity with the engineering design process in taking concepts into manufacturing
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment helping organizations scale
  • Familiarity with PLM systems
  • Experience working with Contract Manufacturers
  • Knowledge of Linux/ROS
  • Familiarity with electrical concepts and PCBA manufacturing
