Robotics Systems Software Engineer with Security Clearance

At Ample, we're revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry with our cutting-edge battery swapping technology. As a Robotics Systems Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing software interfaces for motor systems and sensor systems.

With a passion for robotics and software development, you'll work alongside a talented team of technologists and designers to tackle complex technical problems and bring innovative solutions to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proficiently coding in C++ to manage the control of multiple robotic motion systems
  • Designing and implementing software interfaces for motor systems and sensor systems
  • Developing decision-making logic through coding to synchronize the movement of multiple robots
  • Debugging, testing, and verification at multiple levels of software development and integration for physical systems

Requirements:

  • BS with 3+ years of industry experience or MS with 1+ years of industry experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Highly proficient coding in C++
  • Proficient in Javascript, Python, and/or C is a bonus
  • Working experience in at least one of the following: ability to take an abstract problem and break it down into an implementable system
