Position Overview

The Orthopedic Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in delivering fundamental nursing support to patients, working closely under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position involves assisting the RN in monitoring and caring for patients within designated areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competence in providing care tailored to various age groups, including infants, adolescents, adults, and seniors, while engaging in ongoing educational opportunities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of MOAB I/II training within the first 30 to 150 days of employment for those in the Emergency Department.
  • Successful completion of Nursing Assistant training.
  • Possession of a valid California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Relevant clinical experience is required.
