Operating Room Nurse - Pediatric OrthopedicsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric orthopedic care and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures for children.
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including preoperative assessment, patient education, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative care.
- Maintain a sterile operating room environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Current California RN license required.
- Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an operating room nurse, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices for surgical care.
- Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
