We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join our team at Service Wire Company. As a Sales Order Processor, you will be responsible for managing and processing sales orders from receipt to shipment.
Key Responsibilities- Order Management: Assign and allocate orders within our database system, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and organize records and filing systems to facilitate access and retrieval of customer information.
- Data Entry: Engage in data entry, accurately entering customer requests and orders into our system.
- Shipping and Receiving: Assist with shipping and receiving of customer orders, including processing Bill of Lading and attending customer pick-up windows.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory and tag preparation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
- Order Tracking: Monitor and track the status of sales orders, providing updates to customers as needed.
- Correspondence: Organize and maintain correspondence, files, and records, ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers.
- Education: 2-year degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of previous administrative or clerical experience.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and strong typing and data entry skills.
- Additional Requirements: Familiarity with general office equipment, proven organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with members of various departments.
