Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Force America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to reduce costs, improve quality, and optimize production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Production Optimization: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Implement Lean manufacturing principles and practices to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with production personnel to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that production goals and objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, or related field.
  • Experience: 10 years minimum previous experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices, experience with mechanical design principles, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and self-directed with a strong desire to work within a team environment.
