KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Process Enhancement:

  • Revise and improve machinery and tools for new products and processes.
  • Implement modifications to reduce expenses, enhance reliability, and elevate quality and safety.
  • Supervise die casting parameters and automation enhancements.

Documentation & Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain documentation, generate reports, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Create and assess 3D design schematics to meet specifications.

Engineering & Training:

  • Utilize advanced tools to assess and refine designs.
  • Assist in tooling fabrication, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Educate staff on new processes and contribute to project planning.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish tooling standards, analyze failures, and promote ongoing improvements.
  • Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety procedures and undertake other assigned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in metalworking or manufacturing automation.
  • Strong mechanical understanding and ability to visualize tooling and equipment layouts.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
  • Proficient in mathematics, problem-solving, and meticulous work with high precision.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, clients, and team members.
  • Skilled in driving change, making swift decisions, and thriving in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency and capability to read, write, and perform calculations.
