Ammo Inc is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to manage the production quality of brass ammunition casings, ensuring our commitment to excellence and precision.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing processes, policies, and acceptance criteria that guarantee compliance with specifications throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

Conduct thorough analysis of internal and supplier quality data, lead corrective actions, and identify areas for improvement utilizing Six Sigma and other methodologies.

Oversee quality control initiatives, ensure adherence to standards (ISO, Military, ASTM), and manage quality audits while traveling for customer and supplier engagements.



Documentation & Training:
Create and maintain work instructions, manage production part approvals (PPAP), and deliver training sessions. Keep quality records updated and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Product & Vendor Management:
Review and authorize product drawings and routings, cultivate vendor relationships, and address quality concerns with suppliers and customers.

Internal Audits:
Execute internal ISO 9000 audits and uphold compliance with the 5S system in the quality laboratory.

Work Environment:
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, exemplify professionalism, and contribute to minimizing unsafe practices and injuries. Perform additional responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and Certification as a Quality Engineer, manufacturing or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training.

Skills and Experience:
Technical Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of drawings and standards (IATF, Military, ASTM, GD&T). Proficient in design for manufacturing/assembly and root cause analysis.

Quality Improvement:
Strong foundation in statistical problem-solving and Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred). Experience with both US and international quality assurance practices.

Technical Skills:
Mechanical aptitude for failure analysis, component selection, and system recommendations. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite, ERP (e.g., PLEX), and ISO Quality Management.

Leadership & Communication:
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate diverse work areas. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Production Knowledge:
Solid grasp of production processes, inventory management, safety protocols, and the ability to drive change and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
