Supervise order processing activities. Direct and manage the sales order modification process. Liaise between dealers/customers and production facilities regarding the status of unit deliveries. Address any issues arising between customers and manufacturing concerning order management and timelines. Oversee the sales administrative team as necessary. Prepare and present information at Sales Inventory & Operations Planning meetings. Engage with Regional Business Managers, Dealers, and direct customer accounts to ensure effective communication regarding order updates. Manage short shipment concerns. Provide technical assistance and feedback during initial customer inquiries for lifting solutions. Collaborate with customers to understand and document specific engineering requests during the lifting solution inquiry process. Work alongside the Engineering team to align quoted information with customer requirements for lifting solutions. Coordinate with sales to ensure that quoted information aligns with new product sales orders for lifting solutions. Collaborate with the aftermarket division to estimate lifting solution projects for existing machines. Partner with sourcing and operations teams to guarantee timely and budget-compliant execution of lifting solution projects. Communicate the status of lifting solution orders back to customers to maintain a closed-loop process. Collaborate with sales and aftermarket teams to ensure precise invoicing of completed lifting solution projects.QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field with a minor in business is preferred. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in large construction equipment manufacturing and a general understanding of the mobile crane sector is desired. The individual must possess the technical expertise to perform the role competently. Ability to quickly comprehend the significance of technical information and apply it to specific scenarios. Proficient in analyzing relevant data, exercising sound judgment in predicting outcomes of actions or inactions, and coordinating with sales and manufacturing teams. Capable of articulating thoughts or opinions on specific subjects in a firm yet diplomatic manner. Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software, is essential. Occasional travel (both domestic and international) to trade exhibitions and customer job sites may be required.HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS:
Execute job responsibilities safely. Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as mandated by company policy for the tasks performed. Understand and adhere to established job-specific and facility-wide safety protocols. Actively engage in safety training and demonstrate competency based on the training received.
