Join Our Team as a Field Underwriting Territory Representative

We are seeking an experienced Field Underwriting Territory Representative to join our team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing department, you will play a critical role in evaluating, assessing, and pricing risks while leading profitable growth for our agency partners in your territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite commercial business, analyzing risks, pricing, negotiating, and making informed decisions.
  • Sell and solicit business across all business units available within the territory to build a strong, diverse agency relationship.
  • Develop the territory, leading in strategic plan development, ownership, and execution of enterprise-wide growth and profit within the territory.
  • Lead agencies, achieving deep relationships with and understanding of each assigned agency relationship to build a diverse and profitable portfolio.
  • Provide leadership, partnering with and leading other field disciplines within designated agency relationships to ensure their success.
  • Research the market, staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, emerging risks, and primary competitors.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Willingness to travel and visit agencies within the territory regularly.
  • Strategic business plan development skills.
  • Passion for leading and a valid driver's license.
