Lead Commissioning Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing commissioning activities for various utility substation protection, control, and power circuits.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and perform commissioning activities for utility substation protection, control, and power circuits
- Review wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documents to ensure compliance with TRC's and client requirements
- Perform troubleshooting and problem analysis associated with protection and control systems and utility substation equipment
- Participate in project meetings, including kickoff, planning, progress, and lessons learned meetings
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and project completion reports and documentation
- Develop project-specific testing and commissioning plans, energization plans, and other assigned project documentation
- Identify risks and associated mitigation techniques on utility systems and equipment
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical or Power Systems preferred) from an accredited school or university
- 10+ years of related experience with testing and commissioning services (Electric Utility experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand construction and manufacturer's drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical protection systems, including relay communication
- Prior professional experience in medium and high voltage substation and power plant equipment
- Test experience using Doble Protection Suite and/or ProTest, SEL AcSELerator, Enoserv RTS

CompensationSalary range: $127,000 - $176,800 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
