Talgo Inc is seeking a skilled Commissioning Warranty Engineer/Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in commissioning and warranty of train systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform serial functional tests of train systems, including dynamic and static tests.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic faults.
- Disassemble and assemble train components, and return faulty parts with proper documentation.
- Validate and review test and warranty documents.
- Analyze technical specifications, final tests, schematics, and supplier documentation.
- Fulfill documentation requirements for train functional tests and warranty tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 2-3 years of experience in commissioning and warranty of train systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly, motors, brakes, and related systems.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics, maintenance and repair manuals, detail drawings, and specifications.
- Skilled in preparing written reports and documenting defects and repairs.
