- Respond to any issues that may arise, including de-escalating conflicts and providing assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to identify and address potential safety and security risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety and security protocols.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a security or door screener role is preferred.
- Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification within 3 months of hire.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.
- Previous experience in customer service or public facing role.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Good communication skills and clear thinking to communicate with others.
- Basic computer skills.
