Pharmacy Operations Manager

The Pharmacy Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing medication-use systems. This role will lead and manage associated personnel, programs, services, and operations, providing direction and leadership to staff, students, interns, and residents who provide inpatient pharmacy patient care. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for pharmacy purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and overall supply chain management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Optimize medication-use systems to improve patient care and safety
- Provide direction and leadership to staff, students, interns, and residents
- Manage pharmacy purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and supply chain systems
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with PharmD
- 3 years of management or lead experience in a hospital pharmacy
- Experience with project management and significant clinical experience
- Registered as a pharmacist in the state of Vermont
Preferred Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use PI tools for different projects/workshops
- Detailed oriented, yet also understands bigger picture
- Able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong knowledge and experience with personal computers and all Microsoft Office products
Annual Salary Range = $131,000 - $210,000
