Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Bodycote is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our surface technology plants in Rutland, VT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety and quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the performance of all aspects of safety, quality, on-time delivery, and Profit and Loss (P&L) performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, implement lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing leadership team to drive business results and achieve company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a complex industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies, as well as experience with Microsoft Office and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry, with knowledge of AMS and MIL standards.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages.
