Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Internal Office Accountant to become a vital member of our team at Savia USA. This position plays a crucial role in the precise and timely management of our financial documentation across various entities within the same office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting functions for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Execute comprehensive bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and generating financial statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to guarantee accurate reporting and ledger upkeep.
  • Analyze financial data and summaries to support managerial decision-making.
  • Prepare and coordinate internal financial statements and reports, identifying variances and trends.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and financial planning as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate financial audits and provide necessary financial information.
  • Establish and uphold internal control procedures to manage office expenditures, revenues, and assets.
  • Stay informed about accounting policies, industry developments, and tax regulations impacting the organization.
  • Utilize accounting software and systems for effective financial management and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting capacity, ideally with experience managing accounts for multiple entities.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all levels of staff and management.
