Job Summary:

Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Transformation Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business process improvement and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Process Roadmaps: Assist in defining and documenting a capability delivery roadmap that outlines the functionality details and sequence from Initial Operating Capability (IOC) to Final Operating Capability (FOC).
  • Define Configuration Requirements: Assist in defining and documenting configuration requirements, business rules, functional, and system requirements.
  • Apply Industry Best Practices: Leverage industry best practices to plan, organize, and guide complex programs using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools.
  • Facilitate Knowledge Transfer: Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and knowledge transfer to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Develop Data Modeling Requirements: Assist in defining and documenting data modeling requirements that include all system data generated internally and externally from legacy Source Systems of Record (SSOR).
  • Standardize Operating Procedures: Make recommendations for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) across multiple organizations throughout the Government enterprise.
  • Apply Process Improvement Methodologies: Apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Additional duties may include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Ten (10) years of experience conducting Business Process Engineering activities is required.
  • Process Improvement Methodologies: Five (5) years of experience utilizing Process Improvement methodologies (e.g., Capability Maturity Model (CMM)/Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), ISO 9000, Six Sigma, agile) for COTS integration programs is required.

  • TS/SCI with Poly

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Security, or business discipline or equivalent from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of Business Process Engineering experience may be substituted.
